This spring, Nobu Hotel London Portman Square invites guests to embrace the beauty of Japan’s Sakura season with an elegant line-up of limited-edition experiences. Inspired by the delicate cherry blossoms and the art of Japanese craftsmanship, the hotel will host a luxurious Sakura Afternoon Tea, a seasonal Omakase menu, and an exclusive Sakura cocktail collection. As part of the celebration, guests can also immerse themselves in a unique Sakura Origami & Afternoon Tea experience, blending artistry with indulgence. Throughout the season, the hotel will be transformed with nearly 1,000 handcrafted origami flowers and a striking origami bonsai, bringing the beauty of Sakura season to life.

Sakura Afternoon Tea at The Lounge

Taking inspiration from the Japanese tradition of Hanami – the appreciation of cherry blossoms – this year’s Sakura Afternoon Tea is a tribute to Sakura and the art of origami, offering an exquisite selection of savoury and sweet delicacies. The menu includes signature Nobu dishes such as Nobu Crispy Rice, Smoked Salmon Nobu Club, and Black Cod Butter Lettuce, alongside an artfully curated selection of Sakura-themed patisserie. Guests can indulge in sweet treats including a delicate Sudachi & Sakura Blossom Mousse, Chocolate Miso Caramel Tart and Green Tea Strawberry Mochi Crémeux. The experience is elevated by a selection of new Sakura-inspired teas, including a fragrant Sakura Sencha Obubu and a floral Sakura, Berry & Hibiscus infusion. The Lounge is the perfect setting to celebrate, adorned with delicate origami Sakura flowers.
