Sculpting the Season at Nobu Hotel London Shoreditch

We are excited to be working with Superficial and artist Miguel Rodrigues to bring an abstract, artistic twist to the festive season at our hotel. The unique installation is a tribute to our creative Shoreditch roots, creating a memorable experience for our guests throughout the holidays. Experience the installation from November 19 to January 6 in Nobu Cafe, lobby area, and Nobu Bar’s mezzanine.

About Miguel

Miguel Rodrigues is a Portuguese sculpture artist known for his gilded metal sculptures, he crafts colossal sheets into works that seem to defy gravity, floating and twisting as if caught in an invisible current. Reminiscent of wrapping paper and joyful gift-unwrapping on Christmas morning, we were drawn to the artist’s work believing it to be perfect to bring our vision to life. The two sculptures are based on the idea of a conic structure wrapped around itself, redolent of a pine tree.
