About The Riad

Nobu Riad embodies the city’s architectural heritage with secluded tranquility behind high walls. Its natural aesthetic features brick and clay walls finished in tadelakt plaster, complemented by terracotta floors for year-round comfort powered by sustainable solar and biomass energy.

This 19th-century property, once the home of a wealthy merchant, is now a sanctuary in a captivating city. Restored with local materials and traditional methods, it retains its historical charm. The ground floor features living and dining areas opening to the central courtyard, with six guest suites on the ground and first floors. A rooftop terrace on the second floor offers panoramic views of the city and Atlas Mountains, including the iconic Koutoubia minaret tower. The interior design highlights Marrakech’s traditional artisanship with custom tiles and handcrafted plaster walls embodying wabi-sabi philosophy.
